Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Manabreath collects, why, and what you can do about it. Manabreath is a breathwork business run by Matthieu Duffy, based in Wicklow, Ireland, and I’m the person responsible for your data. You can contact me at any time at manabreath11@gmail.com.
What I collect
- When you join the Weekly Reset or book a session: your name, email address, booking history and payment status. Bookings and payments are handled by our booking platform, OfferingTree, and card payments are processed securely by their payment provider. I never see or store your full card details.
- When you sign up to the newsletter: your name and email address.
- When you contact me: whatever you choose to include in your message, by the contact form, email or WhatsApp.
- Health information you choose to share: if you tell me about a condition on our contraindications list, I use it only to talk through whether breathwork is right for you, and I don’t keep it longer than needed.
- When you visit the website: basic usage information through Google Analytics, such as the pages you visit and roughly where you’re visiting from, which helps me understand what’s useful.
Why I use it
- To provide the sessions and membership you’ve signed up for, and to send you session links and important updates (this is needed to fulfil our agreement with you).
- To send the newsletter, only if you’ve asked for it (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link).
- To reply to your messages and questions (our legitimate interest in helping you).
- To understand how the website is used and improve it (your consent, through the cookie banner).
- To keep basic financial records as required by Irish law.
Who I share it with
I don’t sell your information. I share it only with the services that help me run Manabreath:
- OfferingTree, for bookings, memberships, payments and member emails
- Hostinger, which hosts this website
- Google, for website analytics
- Cloudflare, which protects our contact form from spam
- The video platform we use to hold live online sessions
Some of these services are based outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where that’s the case, they protect your data using safeguards approved under EU law, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long I keep it
I keep member and booking details for as long as you’re a member and for up to two years afterwards, and financial records for six years as required for tax purposes. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Messages are kept only as long as they’re useful.
Cookies
This website uses a small number of cookies that it needs to work, and, with your permission, analytics cookies from Google Analytics. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link at the bottom of the page.
Your rights
You have the right to see the information I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how I use it, to take a copy of it with you, and to withdraw consent at any time. To do any of these, just email me and I’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can also contact the Data Protection Commission in Ireland at dataprotection.ie.
Changes
If this policy changes, I’ll update the date at the top of this page.
